I am a huge fan of the lesser known Floyd albums, personal faves include 'More', 'Meddle', and 'Obscured by Clouds'.
Do yourself a favor and get hip to Clairvo.
Check out Clairvo's site.
Dig Floyd.

heading over before bed......great tune
Righteous, you won't be sorry.
Man, that tune just reeks of optimism.
he is now a trusted...........and the journey begins
but man ... if you ever were a floyd fan ... there are no lesser known albums.
Especially Meddle!
Effin "Meddle' is the best. Second to 'More'.
Point taken Nick.
Maybe it's a minor sacrilege to mention this, but whenever I think of Meddle, I think of the time - sometime in the early Seventies - when I was over at a friend's house, waiting for him. His stoner brother and brother's best friend (Beavis and Butthead prototypes if ever such existed) were lolling around teh living room doing bong hits and listening to Grand Funk. When the side ended, the friend said to the brother, "Hey why don't you put on Medley (as he pronounced it)? It goes right through your mind." Sad how one idle, misdirected comment from a stranger can ruin an album for you for life....
I befriended him.
Now where's my cookie?
I never liked Pink Floyd (except for the Scarecrow song), Led Zepplin, or the Beatles (do I have any friends left?) .....BUT hearing this does make me want to watch Live at Pompeii, which was mesmorizing (I saw it once).
I sit and wait for the My trusteds to disappear one by one.
I dare anyone to"One of These Days..." while driving, and maintain the speed limit!
Lak - vivé la diferance!
Thanks, Contra. It's probably a self-esteem complex I've been dealing with for 38 years.
My favorite Floyd album has always been "Atom Heart Mother," personally. Every time I see a cow I start humming the bass line of "funky dung" to myself.
