Gelded And Now Fodder .......

I particularly like one of the definitions of fodder.
"Raw material, as for artistic creation."
Not more then a year ago I groused loudly about my place here on MOG and what I perceived as a right. Turns out it was a privilege.
Being able to write something and place music along side of the words and the tone of the post is an absolute dream. Honestly it was what was keeping me here for the past few years.
Relax I ain't going. I would like to think of myself as a constant.
So being an outlet for my right brain, MOG is and shall be a first. My sometimes feeble attempt to reach out. Connect with the world and explain me and bring you to a seat in the same room. There's not a whole lot I haven't been willing to share or talk about.
I just want you guys to know this little patch of cyber heaven has been keeping me sane and on a somewhat level footing. Don't underestimate the connections you make.
Okay I hugged you enough, now to why I brought you here.
Having a tune that can convey dual meanings or should I say fit 2 purposes is priceless. Thankfully the 'Godfather' anted up with 'Talking Loud And Saying Nothing"
Take what you will from this tune. I am sure everyone has a different story to tell.
Enjoy. Sorry this is what I got to work with.

Fuckin' second rate turntable.
But a first rate song. One of my favorites from Mr. B. I don't have a right to bitch, really, about MOG, as I've been absent way more than present for a while now. I'm not "officially" going anywhere, either, but I sometimes questions whether or not I can consider myself a real MOGger any more.
Aw come on viking guy..you now you bleed MOG. I gotta look into this James Brown guy. He's speakin' my language.
Yeah, MOG is still in my blood, like it or not. I think I'm just needing some time apart while it sorts itself out, as do I on my end.
As for James Brown, well, he could've been great, if he had been a bit more funky.
If he could just add some peppy rhythms to his tunes he could go places.
Time apart is almost a requirement for MOGsanity and MOgserenity
I'm feelin the need these days. Don't seem to have the creative juices. Ya know what they say, "a rest is as good as a change."
Wow, who is this James Brown? Those are perceptive lyrics.
@Jonh - Some cat from the 70's or 60's who liked to scream, drink booze, do hard drugs and get lots of sex. He's a machine.
@John - I'm just coming off a rest and I come back to this.
@Chuck and Cody - Most of his tunes are equally as flat. If only he could work his way around a bridge.
what's next? good to feel your kick again! that Brown guy sounds garoovy, but I need that platter for skeet. c'mon now Chuck...listen to Cody...
I am - they let this guy in front of the kids??!??
Your comment about the bridge got me thinking: One could write a humourous piece on The 10 Things Wrong With James Brown", but then I realised that a significant portion of the audience would be nodding their head in agreement, muttering "exactly".
Great Idea!
Here's a starting point..
Ten Things Wrong With James Brown (JB Song Titles)
Ten Things Wrong with James Brown (IMO-JB Song about)
LOL! You can add these to his felonies:
Living in the past (There Was A Time)
Chauvinism (It's A Man's Man's...World)
Totally on the Good Foot here.
