I Was Warned, But I Couldn't Help Myself or A Eulogy .......

There I wrote it. I added 2 new trusteds tonite. One is "Hello Mimi":http://mog.com/Hello_Mimi and the other, "Old School C":http://mog.com/Old_School_C . Two new cats, laying down tracks to brighten our lives. We recently lost Kevin Cooper. My guess is he's still lurking. Checking on posts or what ever. You know the drill. Kevin did a job that is absolutely necessary to the survival of MOG. He was an ambassador. Kevin commented, almost with out regard for tone or temperament. I'll miss him, but I understand his passing. I also miss lucy, but for different reasons. Embrace the new crowd. Coop, after you read this, and I know you will, email me. Until then, stay warm.

    Girlcrawl says Am loving that you posted both songs as they are each uniquely kickin' (Ska Chase sent my heart pounding and We Shed A Tear so appropriate). A lovely 'eulogy', and I suspect you are spot on regarding Kevin 'still lurking' about, and that he was a true MOG 'ambassador'. He was a stellar role model for how to graciously interact within the Mog-o-sphere. Will be missed. Excellent post!

    Cody B says You are doing a good job during the transition to the new MOG. You will make a fine replacement for Rawk. You have a nice streak in you and a sense of community and the catalyst quality Rawk had,but you also are very argumentative,which Rawk didn't do,so that is a plus. On the downside, I never see you post butts. At any rate their is quite a shuffle going on in MOG. I guess it always goes on, but I've been noticing it more lately. One other question: When will Old School C speak?

    Marigold says Great post Chris. I aggree with everything you said in regard to Kevin and lucy. I too have noticed a small shift in the universe that is MOG. I assume that if I hang out long enough, more of my favorites will dissapear for one reason or another. I have yet to read Kevin's post on the other M site. I will get that done today though.

    kristiana says Oh Chris. Actually, ya know what's funny? Kevin was one of a very few people who didn't disdain me when the whole "Fedge" thing happened. Even when I called him on some bullshit he had said, he was the only one I can remember who actually paused and said something to the effect of "yeah, maybe I am over-reacting", and "of course we are still friends, just because we disagree over this...", etc. Frankly, people who can't or won't do that scare the bejeesuz outta me. He didn't assume that just because I was pointing out to people their over-reaction that I therefore loved everything Fedge said and agreed with it. Duh. Yep. Good ambassador for sure. You're naughty.

    HelenMarie says *LOVE* _We Shed a Tear_ ! What an upbeat but sentimental choice, that's was great! Also made a note of Sha Chase which was very cool as well. And that Ms. New Booty video brought the biggest smile to my face! How sweet you *all* are to put these special songs up. Only a brief meeting with Rawk myself, but I'll miss his appearance even so. What I don't get is why they delete their whole mog page (i guess it's nice to help save server space). But why not just put up a message on your mog that you're taking time off, for who knows how long. What if these people miss you all so deeply that they have to come back. I mean what if...?

    And yet, you never post any boobies either. ;)  I am so glad you found me Chris.  I love reading your posts.  I know I don't comment much, but I do read all the time, in fact, I have been meaning to tell you a story from way back in February.  You posted about Ella Fitzgerald and I thought that would be a good tune to start my work day.  So I hit the play button and busy myself with things.  After about 30 seconds my office mate, Wendy, turns to me with a puzzled look and says:

    That's not Kate Nash.

    It was tres funny.  You're the best monkey!
