In the genre of Jazz I would say, hands down, bebop has that range covered very well. For me, bebop is just ... more expressive. Swing, rag (in particular, stride), ballads, and standards have their moments. It's just.. bebop is when they literally said, "Fuck it, there are no rules, let's play."This track, in the sub genre of bebop, comes from one of the fathers of bebop, Dizzy Gillespie.
