For those of you feenin for quality Bay Area hip hop

Are you into Bay Area hip-hop but wondering where you fit in? Not into hyphy but not a back pack mc either. I had the opportunity to grace the stage with a refreshing line-up of new talent the other night and want to spread the word to folks to support these artists. The name of the show was Allure it was held at Club Mighty September 16 and featured live performances by FIYAWATA, Kirb and Chris, JDavey and Trackademics. The show was dope and every group ripped the stage to the fullest. I would say that the musical soundscape represented the very esssence of how hip-hop music is expanding. Fiyawata represented a unqiue combination of dub-rock and soul music. Kirb and Chris are on some straight new wave thug shit, Trackademiks is a blend of high powered knock, and JDavey is bringing the electric sound back. Be sure to check these artists out and support independent music ya'll!
