Hi and seasons greetings to you .My life with Genesis started around 1970 although I didn't know it at the time. As you might have guessed from my pic I am a newspaper photographer. I was, a trainee on one of the local papers in Ilford in the county of Essex in the UK..The editor said to me one day "there's been some sort of gang fight between minicab firms down in the woods go and find out whats happened and take a few 'snaps'."10 years later whilst working as a photographer in Guildford for the 'Surrey Daily Advertiser' and Genesis had not yet taken hold of me one of the reporters loaned me a copy of 'Selling England by the Pound'. ' Firth of Fith' and ' Cinema Show ' immediately buried themselves straight into my soul and I was absolutely astounded to realise I had been at the scene of 'The Battle of Epping Forest'.BTW the 'battle' was between two minicab firms not black cabs ...one from Barking where I was Born and one from East Ham which the paper used for trainee reporters who weren't yet able to drive.
