Well, I somehow just got turned onto Deerhoof. While some of the stuff is a little hard on the ears, most of it is brilliant. I really like the Friend Opportunity and Milk Man CD's...still listening...I often wonder why it often takes years to get turned onto a band. It probably has something to with the fact that you can only listen to one song at a time, and that it can take a while to get around to all of the great bands out there. While I often wonder "how did I not hear of this band before, or why didn't I check into them earlier?, I kinda dig playing ''catch-up" with so many tracks and CD's to listen to after making the late discovery. In some ways, its better than getting turned onto a group after the first release, then having to wait a year or two for more music. Anyway, cheers Deerhoof....
