New iTunes, New Problems.

Posted over 4 years ago
Ok, so I just got the latest version of iTunes. The problem is, instead of placing artists that start with numbers and characters near the front, they're now at the very back of the library. What does this mean? This means that now, whenever I open iTunes, this is the first thing I see on their coverflow feature:Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketSo, I'm not just going to ask for artist recommendations today. GIVE ME ONLY ARTISTS THAT START WITH THE LETTER A!!!!

  1. Lizziegreeneyes says A-ha is what I have... what's wrong with a little A-ha every morning to wake up to... driving me a little insane... but I still love them ;P Afghan Whigs, Air, Against Me!, Alkaline Trio, Aimee Mann, Amy Corriea, Alexi Murdoch, AiC, Amy Winehouse, Annuals, Ani DiFranco, Andy Stochansky, Aslan... let me know if you need more Josh !!!

  2. River Lethe says While the update did move artists with ONLY numbers or characters in the first word of the artists names to the bottom, I still have . . .And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead towards the top of my list.

  3. Dale says Well, you could go with UK pop-punk band A, Factory also-rans A Certain Ratio, fellow 80's new wave heroes A Flock of Seagulls, or A Witness (I have one of their songs from the C86 comp). Winamp Media Library puts them all before a-ha. Good luck with that (snickers).

  4. Hmmm says Liz, it's not that A-ha isn't good (otherwise they wouldn't even be in my library), I just don't want it to look like my library is just a bunch of "Best of the 80's" compilations :) And those are some good suggestions- I love Alkaline Trio and Against Me! River, I noticed that too. I guess it doesn't count a period as anything Dale, A sounds like a perfect choice in this situation : )

  5. Lizziegreeneyes says Here I was worried you didn't love the writers of High & Low or Blue Skies ;)

  6. darmuzz says Tops on my list is A.F.I. My iPod alarm clock uses the first entry in the library as my wake up song if I forget to set another one. It is a little eerie getting out of bed to "Prelude 12/21."

  7. chucky says Authority Zero AFI Aquabats Of course, none of those would show up before A-ha. But, I don't have anything really good before A-H.
