I've had this account for exactly a month today, and I've yet to post anything. Being the procrastinator I am, I decided to compose a little something instead of getting ready for work. There are several festivals I would like to attend- namely Coachella, Bamboozle, Bonnaroo, Bumpershoot-- all those B's.. Let's see that's CA, NJ, TN, and WA. Bonnaroo seems so much more surreal than the others. It seems that because I live in Arkansas, it makes it so much more difficult to accomplish such things. (*sigh* Who's to complain?) Anyhow, The Who (well... what's left) is coming to Little Rock in a 03.22 and I'm pretty bummed because I can't go. Tickets to date are around $150.00, which means by the time I get paid they'll probably be up to $200. Not that I wouldn't pay it. I grew up listening to them, so to go would be amazing. My duties as a working class(wo)man await.

  1. steph38 says Hey Hilly OK, the Who was great. But, their new stuff isn't great. I wouldn't pay $200 to hear their new stuff. Or their old stuff. I don't know of a band that I would pay $200 to see. I would go buy one of their old albums (who's next maybe) and maybe a day at a spa. :) but that's just me.

  2. Origami says Welcome aboard H. That's a tough call, but personally I'd pay $200 and go. Forget the cash: if you really want to see a band no amount of money saved will make up for a lifetime of wishing you'd been there. Good luck.
