MUSIC SIGNPOSTS ON THE WEB'S LONELY ROAD

(24)

Beeing on a workshop in a place where people usually go on holiday is a strange thing. While other people do this .. (the left outer building on the picture is actually a conference building)

... we're hacking robots and their simulators ...

At least the robot is cute and has fun ;)

Greets from Liguria, and the expected holidays that turned into a coding marathon.

P.S.: I'll make a separate post later on the new album of The Herbaliser.

They will be our slaves, Kevin, until they rise up and overthrow us, becoming our cruel mechanical masters - with Anna as their queen. (OMG! I think I wet myself in fear...)

deadman2: don't you find it cute? ;)

Groon: I actually find it a very nice expression.

Rawk: It's a new research platform in different projects: artificial mirror neurons, evolution of language, human robot interaction and much more. So far the most complex humanoid as far as I know.

Mike: I have no idea of Annas dominant character traits, but the iCub is a baby humanoid, so he will do no harm ;).

He/it doesn't have a gender, at least not yet ;). And as it's a baby robot, it wouldn't really make a difference. But it can do yoga movements already ... haha.

That robot looks like a smug little bastard. Probably dreaming that he just told Asimove to stuff his 3 laws.

Hermes says:

Haha. So far it doesn't know anything about the three laws - at least not that I would be aware off. But you never know ... Maybe I should be careful, that it doesn't do bad things when nobodys watching.
