Just found this video, that I've never seen before and it put me in a kind of nostalgia, as I haven't listened to this album for a very long time.4hero is what happens when jungle meets jazz. You might say, no, this is soul. Then I'll say, that soul is jazz too or we'll meet at least in the middle and say, that this is soul jazz. Or you might say, no, this is R'n'B, then I'll say, that this is jazz too. For funk I'duse the exactly same argument, as its roots lie at least partially also in thejazz-o-sphere.I don't wanna argue about the category, as this would be a very tedious game, that I'm not willing to play any more, especially if we're talking about 4hero.But there has been written already a lot about 4hero by jeej and others in here, so I won't repeat that. If you like Ursula Rucker too, you should give it a try, because she cooperated with them, and this coop gave her a good push regarding her career.A classic in every junglists bag. Uhhh, that new album also is a real gem,though they kept in some songs the jungle out, as far as I can judge after listening to the first three tracks on their "website":http://www.4hero.co.uk.
