WHERE THE HOKEY POKEY "IS" WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

Snow Song Wanted

Posted about 1 year ago
This afternoon the sun was shining and the streets were dry, already nearly like summer.GooGooMuc made a "post about Funky Porcini":http://mog.com/GooGoomuc/blog_post/149458 this afternoon with a wonderful dreamy track, that was already reminding me a lot of Angelo Badalamenti. Now it's snowing as if there would be no tomorrow. I don't know a snow song, but "Into The Night" reminds a lot of the ghostly atmosphere, that snow can produce. When it takes away all sounds like a very good accoustic insulation. If you live in an area where there is snow and you already walked through a forrest during the winter you certainly noticed the stillness. It always arouses a little creepy mood, that I really like.Anyone else here, who loves Twin Peaks?Or do you know dreamy snow songs?

  3. fistula spume says Twin Peaks rules. I enjoy winter when it's at it's still and cold and there's snow all around. It's a romantic kind of creepy. I was going to post some snow songs a while back as I know I have a lot. I did do a series of posts on winter though. They're here "Winter Posts":http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all&q=winter+part+site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fmog.com%2Ffistula_spume

  5. fistula spume says No problem. Seems like Part 6 is missing. Maybe I didn't post a Part 6. Oh well! I use the site specific search all the time. It's in the advanced search section.
