My previous post reminded me of another quote about music that I've held on to for several years now. I've never managed to become a fan of Danny Lanois' music, but as a U2 fan I think the man is genius. I clipped this from an interview with him:"Music is absolutely spiritual and healing. That doesn't mean it has to be serious; it means it's got to make you jump out of your seat and be glad to be alive. Even if it's just a little romantic song, or a really heavy song, it needs to perform that duty. That's why we love rock and roll."
