   Spencer Owen says I can't remember any of the times I've dreamed with music. I know that if I did, I'd like it to be something I write in my sleep, and then remember it... I know people that have done that. Saves some songwriting hassle!

   Treppenwitz says I went to bed on September 10, 2001 and woke with a start uncharictaristically early for me, right at 6 a.m. PST on September 11, just as Flight 175 hit the south WTC tower. I turned over and went back to sleep, and dreamed that I was at a party looking out at the city of Seattle at night. Aimee Mann's "Driving Sideways" was playing in the background. I made everyone quiet down as the slide guitar solo came on. Looking out the window, I saw dark clouds gather around the Space Needle, sort of like they gathered around the top of the apartment building in the movie Ghostbusters. Purple lightning lit up the clouds and firey bits started raining from the clouds. As the guitar solo ended, the Space Needle exploded in a mushroom cloud. In my dream I said to myself, "Well, that was inevitable." I then woke up just as the south tower collapsed.
