For as long as I can remember the BBC has been light years behind in fulfilling its potential in hosting and promoting British musical talent online. Their music pages have been safe, staid and hardly interactive. Afraid to take a punt, and too fearful of compromising the Record companies, they've reported the music news and left the rest of the world wide web to fill in the cracks.

Seems like changes are in the air, and for the first time they're streaming an album in its entirety. Beverley Knight is a seasoned and revered British soul singer with a strong back catalogue. Her new album "100%" can be streamed on the BBC website (link below). In addition their music player goes up to 11!

Well done BBC, lets hope it's the first of many.
