Both tracks of this single are pure indie pop perfection. Great vocals, with tunes that have every note calculated to strike the proper balance between the jingles and the jangles. Let's hope the forthcoming full-length can maintain this high level of songwriting craftsmanship. Before I get involved with the necessary discussion of how fantastic this disc is, I need to vent yet again... If I will eventually have no choice than to pay iTunes $19.99 for this disc, then FINE, w/ 33 tracks, it's still a bargain... This spiffy release from 2003 escaped my radar until a few years ago. Upon repeated listens I've determined conclusively that this 'one off' release is worthy of your attention...
