So,
I'm back. Hopefully, for good.
I've not really done much on my page; I deleted some widgets and added some old ones. You may have noticed I re-added the "Artists You Should Know About" widget, and listed some artists there:
Austrian Death Machine is a metalcore band that parodies Arnold Schwarzenegger. It primarily features Tim Lambesis of As I Lay Dying doing all the instrumentation and vocals (minus the solos; guests are brought in to play those), and Destroy the Runner's Chad Ackerman doing the Arnold impersonations.
A Day to Remember mixes pop punk vocals with metal instrumentation, and offer a surprisingly fresh sound as compared to most of the stuff on the radio these days. Their sophomore album, For Those Who Have Heart, was fairly successful in the public eye, and their most recent release, Homesick, has hit #1 on the Top Independent Albums chart. These guys are definitely worth a listen.
Ignominious Incarceration is a rather long bandname, and quite hard to say if you don't say it on a somewhat regular basis, but, the band is great. They deathcore group is releasing its debut, Of Winter Born, this month.
The John Jorgenson Quintet is the odd one out of the group. The quintet is a Jazz group, instrumental for the most part. The guitar work is phenomenal, and is the showcase of the group, with the other instruments playing as support for it. Ultraspontane is an amazing album by these guys, if you get a chance, they're definitely worth checking out.
Jubilee is a rock band from California. It features Aaron North (of Nine Inch Nails and The Icarus Line fame) on guitar and vocals, Michael Shuman (of Queens of the Stone Age) on bass and vocals, with Jeff Lynn (of Wires on Fire) and Troy Petrey (of The Icarus Line) on guitar and drums, respectively. They've yet to release a full-length album, but, have released two singles that are definitely worth the listen.
Lewis vs Clark is a Christian metal band, and worth the listen. The drumming on their debut album, Selah, is amazing.
Pearl Django is another Jazz group. These guys, unlike The John Jorgenson Quintet, focus more on the instruments' sound as a whole, as opposed to the guitar.
Return From Exile is a metal band, straight and simple. Blazing harmonies and harsh vocals, good for the occasional listen if you're like me and listen to everything.
I plan on reviewing a couple of albums in this space, too, so, stick around.

Sounds like some cool stuff to check out. In fact I already have checked out Jubilee.
Well, yeah, Mom showed me them, so...yeah. The only two I think you might be interested in though are The John Jorgenson Quintet and Pearl Django, but, alas, I've not found downloads of 'em, so, if you actually wanna check 'em out, I can send you a couple of sampler songs, or you can look 'em up on YouTube (or go to their sites, I'm sure each has some songs available for streaming). Then, if you like 'em, I can send you the John Jorgenson Quintet CD (which I borrowed from my Physical Science teacher O.o), and the two Pearl Django tracks I've got.
