Concert Review: The Tragically Hip: Anaheim House of Blues - 03/23/07

Canada worships three things: Hockey, Beer, and The Tragically Hip (in that order). In the U.S., where bands are quickly raised and removed from the esteem of the country it may be unusual to think of a music band that is so intertwined in the fabric of a country, but The Hip are such a band. And it is well deserved adoration. While they may be on their decline creatively, they are still at the pinnacle of their performance. In Canada, they played to sold out arenas of 20,000 people and yet here they were treating us to an intimate show in a venue that could not hold more than 500, the Anaheim House of Blues.
