I recently read Pitchfork’s 8.4 review of this album and decided to try to track it down. It is definitely not worth an 8.4; this is an example of Pitchfork getting overly excited over talented artist exploring artistic boundaries. Just because it is intellectually interesting does not make it a great album. Now that said, I strongly believe some of the best tracks of the year are found on this album. I've noticed that a lot of online review places really like throw around good reviews like thier going out of style.
