What is the Date? And a Bigger Question!
Today someone walked by my desk and asked an innocent question, "What is today's date, is it the 3rd of June or the 4th?" Without missing a beat I said "The 4th" and went back to business! But within 3 minutes it began..without the slightest intention, I didn't mean to do it, I didn't want to do it, but I started to sing... "It was the third of June another sleepy, dusty, delta day....I was out chopping cotton and my brother was was baling hay...!" OMG! I sang this song, all day long...I was hooked!! I couldn't shake it!But it did bring up an interesting question... What the heck were she and Billie Joe McAllister throwing off the Tallahachie Bridge?
