This is me, saying goodbye (for a week)

Not that I'm Mr. Active all the time. Who knows--a week gone might not register much on the old mog-o-meter lately, anyway. But still, I'm heading out for some time and figured I'd give you guys and gals a proper goodbye.
You see, in a very short amount of time I will be living it up with my family in The Happiest Place on Earth, otherwise known as Disney World. Pretty stoked, to say the least. Go ahead, prattle on about the rampant commercialism and how Walt Disney's company is trying to take over the world, one comic book dynasty at a time. I don't care (this week). The joy on my kid's faces is enough for me to worry about such things at a later time.
I hope all is well while I am gone. David's Wednesday announcement is sure to stir up a lot of discussion, all the sadder for me since I will not be around for all but the tail end of it, I fear. Rest assured the beginning of next week I will be sifting through the news and comments, eager to see what new treasures and features await us.
In the meantime, though, I figured I'd leave you with a music-related send off. Disney is known for many things, and one of them is music, be it good or bad. But before the days of HSM, Miley Cyrus, and the Jonas Brothers and all of their clones, Disney's music had a certain integrety to it, at least to me. The animated films went hand in hand with their music, and any kids growing up to those movies can tell you that those songs helped to shape the soundtrack of our childhoods.
So I leave you with several clips of my all time, hands down, favorite Disney-movie-music, the music from 1973's Robin Hood.
In case you didn't know, Little John was voiced by Phil Harris, more known for his role as Ballou the Bear in The Jungle Book, but this was my favorite role of his.

Hey Groony, have a fabulous v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n. Say hi to the Enchanted Tiki Room for me.
I'll keep a lookout for it!
have fun, still have never been to that place..........does that make me a freedom hater?
well, Kevin, unfortunately, yes. Yes, it does.
Have fun, Groony!
I hear the place is pretty "Mickey Mouse"
Have fun!
I expect a Mouse Ears avatar from you Groony!
ooh! have fun! i haven't been there since i was four years old...i'm sure its a bit different now.
Thanks everyone!
Annie, maybe I'll sport the ol' mouse ears after I return.
ardy, I haven't been there in a long time either--can't wait to see how different it is!
No ionternets in the DL? Bummer.
Have a sundrenched trip..
I think we have to pay extra for internet in the room, which is pretty cheap all things considered. So, if that's the case, then no, no connecty for me.
By the way, is that the cover to Camel's "I Can See Your House From Here?" in your avatar?
No, but seeing it, I can sort of see why you say so..I think I got this one from one of nicki's space p0rn posts.
ah.
And saying that, I'm off!
