My mom is a listener of the country music and played this for me when it came out. Can't say that I am a fan.
I usually don't care for country, either, but for some reason this version just works for me.

Ok. The song itself is a classic, so the tune draws me in. Patron is an accomplished singer, so I can be sure she'll at least be on key.

Dolly usually has a great sense of what works. This does. That was very enjoyable.

well, I appreciate the effort, if nothing else. I don't think it's for everyone, but honestly until I heard it I wouldn't have thought it would be for me, either. I dont' see myself listening to it all the time, but it is an interesting, pretty decent version IMO.
Let's call it a departutre from the norm. Something to enjoy, but not make a habit of. :)
