Flying Saucer Attack, meet Medicine!!

Posted over 4 years ago
There have been a couple of excellent posts lately concerning the band Flying Saucer Attack. I had never heard of them until these posts, but I definitely like what I've been hearing. The minute I heard them, the band Medicine popped into mind, so I decided to share them as well.I first heard these guys from a friend back in college. The sheer wall of noise took a while to get used to, honestly, but once I acquired the taste for it I was sold. I have two albums by them. This song was the single from what is considered by many to be their best album, The Buried Life from 1993.One more song in the comments, if I can get that right.

  5. Marigold says Thanks for doing a post on Medicine. It was needed. I checked out their artist lounge and it is pretty bleak. This is a great band. I love how mellow and chaotic they are at the same time.

  6. Doomsayer2001 says I like the second song a bit better. I think it's the sissy vox... Reminds me of Crosby Stills and Nash. And once again, I'd rather take a bullet to the kneecap than hear CSN.

  7. Groon says That's how I feel about Journey. Shudder I've seen CSN live twice--can we still be friends?

Will have to check them out. multiply is awesome,, check it out. reminds me of kinda fuzzy yo la tengo/stereolab type stuff. and Journey,, well, I dont know... even though my high school class song was Wheel in the Sky, I was never much of a fan. (my circle voted for Crazy Train) But then they used it in the Sopranos, and that song stuck with me.
