I've seen STP a few times now, last year Weiland seemed pretty bored, but when he shows up, like he did Wednesday night, he is one of the last true frontmen in rock today. Great setlist, great performance, dead crowd, which all adds up to a great time for me since I got as close as I wanted to be. Superman Silvergun, Big Empty, 7 Caged Tigers and Dead and Bloated were the highlights for me, but the setlist in general was borderline flawless in my opinion. Not a huge fan of Creep, but gave me time to grab a couple $8 beers. After the show, and all the bars in Manchester we could find, some drunken sleep at the econolodge, it was off to the Mohegan Sun in CT for STP show #2! Good times. Pics from Mohegan.
