I expected nothing, but it's pretty insane, new guitarist is ridiculous. It's early, but I'd say easily best since Youthanasia, and I think I enjoy it more. It's more thrash like pre-countdown releases. The new guy is so good you won't even miss Marty. Best guitar album I've heard in a long time, can't wait to see it live. I definitely didn't see this coming!

I've seen STP a few times now, last year Weiland seemed pretty bored, but when he shows up, like he did Wednesday night, he is one of the last true frontmen in rock today. Great setlist, great performance, dead crowd, which all adds up to a great time for me since I got as close as I wanted to be.
