My Trusted MOGs
Love start to a 4 day weekend with some Bruce....interesting link to your prior Joshua Bell post...wonder if the Danes would have tossed change in a guitar case at Bruce's feet.
In NYC I often see crowds of people gathered around street musicians (at subways, Penn Station and Union Square)...makes me glad to be a NY'er :)

Kind of funny that people are singing along. Here's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Bruce unplugged, and you sing along loudly? That's a great clip. Loved the article from Washington subway too.
Who was that accompanying him?
I heard the guy yelling "Born to Run." I think I would have said, "Zero and Blind Terry." I'm such a snob.

debi: i live in the city too, and most subway/street musicians will get a little love, but then, most aren't playing bach partitas! still, i think it had at least something to do with time and place, morning rush, and washington government offices. if joshua bell had been playing at tucker square on a saturday afternoon, you can bet he would have drawn a crowd.
slrevare: it looks like the stroget to me, the famous "walking street" in copenhagen. i've been there a couple of times, and i think the guy playing w/ bruce is just a street musician. if i had to guess, i bet bruce was just walking by, the guy was playing one of his songs, and bruce just stopped and joined in. pretty cool.
