WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

O Holy Night

Posted over 2 years ago
I must have 10 versions of this song, by Pavarotti, Lenotyne Price, Nat Cole, etc, all beautifully sung, and yet, it's this version i keep coming back to. She breathes after virtually every syllable, and it's some of the most excreable french ever sung...also, don't miss her rendering of the line Noel-elll, Noel-Hell!...and still, it works...

  1. Jonh Ingham says The Aaron Neville version of this is one of my alltime favourite recordings. It's both instructive and uplifting to hear this excellent rendition. A tip o' the yuletide hat to you GA.

  2. Bartleby says Thanks for this soulful "Heilige Nacht." - The French is more than free verse, if I may say so. Have yourself a Yuletide tipple, GA.
