  2. Misstee says D'oh! That's what you get for hiring 22 yr olds to run the music programming dept when they were interns the year before.

  4. Bartleby says That's one the funniest thing I've seen for a long time from VH1. (Incidentally, since when does VH1 show/play music?) Regarding the "resemblance" between Sarah Vaughn and Elle Fitzgerald, as a child I was utterly incapable of telling one from the other. The voice may sound alike, the timbre is distinctive, though. I like both versions (perhaps Sarah's singing in the arrangements above agrees more with me).

  5. Cody B says LOL! It might be even funnier if they had the audio of the Ohio Players version..I won't throw that up here..unless you give me permission. I guess that would be more of a Jerry Springer thing.

  8. Bartleby says Ah, that cover. Some day, I think it'll be worth doing something about the secret life "honey" on album covers. Thanks Cody and GA.

  9. Grievous Angel says IIRC, the gatefold on Honey was pretty spectacular too. Thanks for posting the music Cody- i actually kind of dig it.

  10. Cody B says I don't know if it is legend or not,GA, but it is said that The OP version of Rainbow is Liza's favorite. Now maybe that is something VH-1 can look into.
