Thought this was entertaining and worth sharing...although it could just be 'cause I'm easily amused =)

Maybe it's because I listen to way too much music, but sometimes I reach a point where certain songs and lyrics all mesh together in my head, and it's hard to distinguish them from each other. And in instances such as this one, sometimes I can't hear a song without noticing that it reminds me of another song by a completely different artist. Now I'm not talking about the blatant ripping off of another song ala Ice Ice Baby/Play That Funky Music...just a coincidental comparison that I just can't help but notice.

For example: the lines, "Gravity, No escaping gravity" from Placebo - Special K remind me of the lines, "Jealousy, Turning saints into the sea" from The Killers - Mr. Brightside

Also the intro to Ziplock by Lit reminds me an awful lot like the intro to The World Has Turned And Left Me Here by Weezer

Or, of course, maybe I'm just crazy and it's all in my head...
