I Know What Hell Feels Like.
Hell Is Attending A Show For A Band You Love Who Won't Stop Playing When It's Hotter Than Hell And You're Sticking To Some Leather Couch Thing While Alternating Between Clutching Your Ribs And Holding Your Back Due To The Fact That You're In Serious Pain.Ugh.So I Saw The Koffin Kats This Evening And As Usual They Were Wonderful But Was Difficult For Me To Get My Mind Around The Fact That I Physically Couldn't Handle Enjoying The Show In My Usual Manner: Moshing. Moshing Is Just About My Favourite Thing To Do And I Couldn't Go Out And Play Because I Seriously Fucked Up My Back Neck/ Head At The Dropkick Murphys Show. But I Couldn't Resist. As Usual I Jumped In The Pit, Started Making My Way Around And Suddenly I Was Face To Face With The Floor. How Did That Happen? I Still Don't Know. But I Do Know That I Hit My Head Again And That In Addition To The Head Trauma I Was Already Recovering From Made For A Very Dizzy Holly. That Fall [Again, Seriously Fucking Up My Back] Plus A Few Good Blows To The Ribs Plus The General Chaos That Accompanies Moshing Equals Ouch. I'm Supposed To Go See The Briggs Tonight But Honestly, I'm In So Much Pain That I Don't Think I Want To Go...BUT, In Spite Of It All, I Had An Excellent Time. Geoff Kresge Is A Really Chill Guy, Viva Hate Had A Very Tight Performance, And The Koffin Kats? Well, They're Untouchable. So, In Summary: Good Show, Lots Of Pain, Probably Not Going To See The Briggs Tomorrow. Yay [I Guess].
