yep....as usual, good stuff. I like me some jazz but this is a side of jazz that i am not super familiar with. I tend to lean toward the more funk based instramental jazz but this is welcomed. thanks.
...must admit, I am a little dissapointed. "I am" gets a post dedication and I am sitting here waiting for my Egyptian Polka post and nada! someday....*shakes head in dissapointment. :P

Thanks Girl, these tracks certainly lived up to the expectations I had in my mind.
While I am a huge Adderley (both Nat and Julian) fan I never came across this album. As far as Nancy Wilson goes, she is a singer who slipped through the cracks in my collection. I don’t think I have one song by her. That changes today. Once again thanks.
Next request is on me.

I was playing your song and my father yelled out who is "trying" to sound like Nancy Wilson. When I said it was her he just shut up. He said the woman is definitely a class act. I have always enjoyed her and love that she is still performing to this day. Hopefully, Pops will hook me up with some of his albums but they are vinyl!
Thank you for the smooth grooves!! =)

soulrocke - quite welcome, and glad you enjoyed!
Marigold - simply will not have you disappointed, so I'll find some Egyptian polka if it kills me, and you know it will severely damage my hipster image - only for you.
Cody B & Rawkkiddo - :-)
I am - really glad that you liked the tunes; Nancy has a few really nice LP's about including a recent release that is wonderful. One I have that is spectacular is entitled 'Something Wonderful' and was originally released by Capitol in 1960 (it features Ben Webster on tenor sax); Blue Note remastered and re-issued it 2004, and I would highly recommend.
moovyphreak & FlowerPower111 - thanks you guys, and cheers!
2Serenity - "trying to sound like N.W." - how funny; definitely agree that she is a 'class act', and it's wonderful that she is still so vibrant. If 'Pops hooks you up', be prepared to post cause you know we are going to request :-) Cheers!
