A farewell post to my fellow moggers.

The 'girl' has always known when to leave a party...

Have decided to cease posting, but wanted to take a moment to say farewell to all the wonderful moggers I've come to know these past months; MOG has been immensely satisfying due largely to the eclectic community inhabiting the site. Thanks so much for the fabulous music, comments, and insightful exchanges. Wishing all a lovely holiday season and bright blessings for the approaching new year. Cheers!

    Augusts1 says 'Yule' be back, trust me, most everyone who leaves ends up coming back. I'm sure you're experiencing the Mog timesuck stress & feel you need to cut yourself off to get everything done for the holidays. In the almost year that I've been here I've seen it & experienced it myself. 'Yule' be missed in the interim GC. Take care & happy holidays!

Need to resume my life so to speak...have allowed MOG to become too time-consuming, and I'm just not feeling the inspiration to continue with it. Will probably peek in ocassionally to see what my favourite mogsters are listening to. :-)

I have to second Augusts1 - you "feel the timesuck" and it becomes more and more difficult to post, and to comment on everyone's posts - and you feel the pressure to because you made some real online friends... and there is a true sense of letting them down if you don't... but I think you can become a reader/listener in a situation like that and just post less - I know that I have cut back a bunch - and have taken a little heat here and there, but its usually just in good fun because certain people enjoy reading what you have to say. No matter what is in store for you (back or not) take care, and I know that we all wish you the very best. Van

Am actually prepared for the holidays, so fortunately the stress level is minimum. Think I lack the motivation because MOG's not a challenging or productive outlet - my interest wanes quickly if those 2 elements are missing. Have remained primarily because I grew fond of individuals rather than the site. For that I will be forever grateful. Will you at least NOT delete your MOG page. You have contributed some great posts to MOG and I would hate to see them go.

    Lady Miss Ian says GC - Oh, I, too, am sad to hear this, but completely understand. Real life takes over and it's important to put your energy into what is best and healthy for you. Mog's a great place, but it's kind of like the Cosmic Rest Area. You can stop and hang out for a while, but it's not meant for people to live there. It's been great to get to virtually know ya and share your music. Like Marigold said, don't delete your MOG page yet. I'm still trying to catch up with people's posts from over a month ago. :-) Happy Trails, sister! We'll remember you fondly. Cheers!

I just finished my studies for the semester, and was getting back into Mog, when I met a new girl, and of course, now my Mog notification folder is expanding again rapidly.
