Please either explain to me, or add a way for me to edit my replies on post. I like being able to edit a Post, but fail to see how to edit a reply/post on a thread.

I am very OCD about such things, and have a bad habbit of hitting ENTER before I Proof Read.

Thank You.... that is all.

Wait..... I would also like some new backgrounds......... and maybee some scratch and sniff avatars...

and a Hot Tub.......

Ghost~

Well at least you can delete a comment..you didn't used to be able to do that..so you can cut what you did with an error, paste it in a new comment, make edits, and then delete the old comment..I do that all the time cause I make many misptakes.

    Nobody's prefect.

I do the same as Cody.  But generally, I use COPY instead of CUT.  Then, as he said, do not delete the old comment until you have successfully posted the revised one.

Cody's right.  When we got the ability to delete our comments, we were just so pleased that we never complained about not having the ability to edit.

    Seriously.

    ITS THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!

And not one comment about it.... you guys either SUCK at humor, or have a really skewed impression of my taste.

But yes, I did not think of the obvious workaround, simply cut/paste/fix/post/delete.

Even easier, just highlight comment with mistakes, click and drag all your text to the comment box, fix mistakes and publish. Then delete the old comment. I do it all the time because I too am a horrible typist without spell check.

By the way, you can let the boy band have it.

I was choosing to ignore it, honestly.  :-p

Funny . . . I make mistakes all the time, and for some reason it never entered my head that I could fix them by any sort of means.  I would stare at my typos, curse silently to myself, and then wish I had caught the mistake before I posted.  Never occured to me I could fix it.

    You can spell check...

For Windows...Go into HTML mode and highlight text.

Right click on the highlighted text and a "check spelling" option will appear.  If you click on it, it will find mispelled words you can then change and "update".

    You're welcome.

as for backgrounds, we used to have the option of creating/editing the CSS file of our profile page - backgrounds being a simple task but also the colors of text/links/headers etc.  i haven't changed mine in ages coz i love the background pic (i think PuffMagic made it originally?) but i don't see the link for "create-your-own" anymore.  that's how we ended up with so many cool choices in the first place, so maybe it's time for that to be reinstated...
