I know most people already know who Jeff Buckley is and he's been an icon for years now. But I was only introduced to him in my first year of college last year. One of my teachers was playing 'Corpus Christi Carol" and the voice that came out of whatever machine he was playing it with was amazing. I thought it was a woman first, then he said thats Jeff Buckley. So i went and bought his album "live at the olympia" that day.
I've got all his albums at this stage and i have to say my favourite one is "Live At Sin-e". Its like he just dosen't give a shit what anyone thinks. Its just him and his guitar for about 2 hours and he produces more music with his voice and that telecaster than most studio albums. The passion he puts into his songs is insane. Its like he's in a different world or something. Anyway, the song i've been playing alot these days on the album is "The Way Young Lovers Do". So give it a listen and let me know what you guys think.

That album is so epic...i love it when he goes off on the tangent about Nusfrat Ali khan(i know i butchered his name, but you know the part I am talking about)....his voice sounds amazing throughout this entire ablum...

I'm with your Ger5050. _Sin-e_ allows the listener to truly appreciate the purity and and nuances of Buckley's singing (and also his strength as a guiar player). Of course we all love _Grace_ but the production is so frigging intricate and theatric at times it's like his voice is competing with the instrumentals.
Forever, "Calling You" had been my favorite song from _Sin-e_ but right after his past birthday it became his cover of "Night Flight".

Sin-e is amazing. I'm not a fan of recorded live music, but it blew me away. I got chills just listening to it.
