With the many people on youtube getting known for playing the guitar using finger-tapping styles, I re-checked out one of the guys who kick started the whole thing back in the early 90's, Stanley Jordan.
Unlike most of these new people who create their own compositions using their own open tunings, Stanley can nail anything, and it's not just a gimmick. It's great jazz.
