Nuzzle cassette '96 demos. Songs that were recorded for a release that never happened and got a second pass with Jeff Pinn. These are a bit punker and looser, but perhaps truer to the live form, thanks to Andy Radin for digitzing and sending my way
the new Mick Barr band, Krallice - very concise and pummeling and melodic.
Brain Sucking Peanunanners is Mitchell Brown and two pre-teen children messing around with synthesizers and vocals, surreal monster music.
Menace Ruine - Cult of Ruins. Picked this up on Justin Davidson's reccomendation. Montreal husband and wife drum machine metal duo. the CD face itself is a contoured black matte on another screenprint image.
Black Pus - picked up a few of these CDs and CDRs from Chip when he was in San Francisco recently, along with a split LP with Foot Village. the LP, I'm not sure if I was hearing it right but it sounded like he had a guest vocalist on the first track
Dianogah - QHNNNL. Surprising revisit to this Chicago group, hadn't heard a peep from them in years and this stood up well, there are guest vocal spots plus the fact that there are vocals at all.
Pod Blotz, Nero's Day At Disneyland, Mincemeat or Tenspeed, and Kyle Mabson in the cave at Sutro Baths. Jason from Synt.Tofs/Ormolycka's second go at a generator show down here, with an insane bass woofer reverberating inside nature's ear canal. Suzy Poling adding a woozy tape melody layer to her theremin gamble. Davey creating rhythmic feedback of rave capacity. Mabson bringing the rave, then hanging with Mabson and Juiceboxx and driving to the ER with a head wounded VC and misisng all of Quintron.
