Today - no make that this week - is one of those really shitty ones where you feel depressed and don't have the energy to do anything about it. Seriously, being married to a Navy man is incredibly hard - he's away all the time even though I'm pregnant, and we have to move house almost every year - and we don't even get to say where to. It sucks! It means I have no family or friends around and no job to go to. Anyway, so when I'm depressed like this I even lose my interest in music, but I'm hoping there might be some kind of musical saviour who can switch me back on to enjoying music, and by extension, life. Of course that's different for each person, but I'm curious to know who your musical saviours are - maybe one of them will inspire me too?

Well, you know mine: U2. Try the track "Stay (Faraway, So Close!) from the album Zooropa. It's arguably U2's best song ever, Bono even says so.
Also, Broken Social Scene breathed new life into my love for music.
