This [Discotheque & Fizz by Stellar Dallas] was originally written for Savile Row, where Austen Hornbrook (Guitar/Vocals), Cathy Harabaras (Drums/Vocals), and myself (Bass) first hooked up. Savile Row was a five-piece set-up, with the addition of Matt. Wilson (Vocals), and Simon Cohen (Guitar/Vocals).

It proved unsuitable for Savile Row, as well as other tracks written in the same sessions. A very tough decision was made to break off and form a new band, one which was a little darker, and more musically challenging.

However, it was performed a couple of times with Savile Row, but it did not 'fit the bill'; there are recordings of these performances somewhere or another.

The structure of the track was born of two separate pieces that seemed to go nowhere at the time, you can easily tell which two as they are quite different, but somehow, we thought, went quite nicely together thank you very much!
