I am a recent owner of an iPod.Which is weird, because I've been a music fiend for decades, played in bands, have tons of albums, CDs and mp3s - I even worked in digital music (since 99) for MP3.com's & CNETs music depts.I just got my first iPod last November.Because of this, I no longer have stacks of CDs falling all over my car. Also because of this I've been listening to the radio more.Mostly the public-funded jazz 88.3. I've played in metal bands, some reggae and even produced my own electronic tracks. I like all kinds.I have a particular affinity for organ. Hammond B-3.So nice.Anyway...I was getting gas one night on the way home from work...and this sweet organ version of 'Georgia On My Mind' came on the radio.They said the artist name, but the next day I couldn't remember what it was to save myself.So went to the iTunes store and listened to every version of the track listed until I found Jimmy Smith.I grabbed a copy of "Jazz 'round Midnight". It is by far one of the best records to listen to during a morning drive.
