Well. It's close to Moog, which I dig. HAs the same color-scheme as Moogs.I'm digging so far. What am I listening to?Teddybears. A lot.A great synth-punk-electro-dancehall record.A co-worker threw 'Punkrocker' at me and I instantly recognized Iggy Pop's voice...which made me investigate.I cruised over to MySpace - listened to the record and after a half-listen - downloaded it from iTunes.Boston.My wife & I stopped into this local bar last Friday, after dinner, mainly because of its' sign.We drive by it a lot & it has this sign that says "Semi-live Entertainment". It's a total hole-in-the-wall, across the street from the sport fishing pier in San Diego. She threw some $$ into the juke box & we relaxed & waited for the selections to play. I had no idea what she chose.Among her choices was Boston. Now Brad Delp just passed away last week, which is a shame.Hearing the track brought me back to my early teen years of trying to learn 'Smokin'" off of the first Boston record. So that night, after we go home from our fabulous evening of classic-bar-70s rock night...I downloaded the first two Boston records. 'Boston' and 'Don't Look Back'.The other thing I've been listening to of late is Van Halen. 'Fair Warning' & 'Women & Children First' have been in heavy rotation.TWo very much underrated (if there is such a thing) old-Van Halen records.Sorry. Not a Sammy fan.Well. that's my first MOG post. Will I continue? Will this site disappear into the ether of my brain?I don't know.
