Nashville!
Okay! I just mailed the final Elephant Island mixes to Nashville for mastering this morning! I am exhausted and excited. Jim Demain at Yes Master is going to work on them. He did Andrew Bird's last album, which is truly great. You can hear a couple of the unmastered songs at www.myspace.com/elephantislandvictoria.I haven't had much time to listen to anything else lately, but this morning Richard Youngs really hit the spot. He's a fascinating character with a wildly varied catalog. "Saphie" is a great record. Just him and the guitar. Real cloudy day sort of stuff.
