Myth of Progress

Last week I went to check out this benefit show some guys had organized over at balazo 18 (in san francisco, yep im on my holidays). The headlining band Chest Full of Arrows tore it up with some awesome native american chanting/ thrashy hardcore. I can only hope they release some material soon. Anyway, I ran into some of they guys/girls from Myth of Progress, with whom I commenced to hang out Oakland. They are really cool people who showed me a great time in "oaktown" without me ending up getting shot. Result. As a bonus i got handed a cd-r of their upcoming LP, which is some great blazing crust with multiple vocalists. its gonna be awesome. Not sure how its getting released, but keep an out out for them, this is gonna make a big splash. I also had the chance to have a peep at some of the album artwork which is top notch. there seem to be quite a few good shows lined up in oakland, so Im guessing that that wasnt the last time i crashed on their couch. If only I can stop their cat from walking on my face while im trying to sleep again...
