They recently erected a beautiful bronze statue to Phil Lynott here in Dublin. There’s a lot of love for it. Flower-sellers nearby decorate the guitar every morning. And when some fool stole Philo's right hand, the public immediately demanded a replacement. (Crime against statues being a major concern in Ireland.)PS. Anybody want to buy a bronze hand?

Well, Phil was a cool-looking guy. He had that whole Highwayman thing going on. The well-dressed rebel. Believe me, nobody wants to see a statue of a scruffy git. Like, the bands today, with the holes in their jeans, shirts sticking out, and their hair a complete mess? They're gonna make for some shitty-looking statues in twenty years time. Bands should take that into considering when choosing a wardrobe. Always be asking themselves, "Will this look good on a bronze statue?"

No, the amount of bronze required for his head was deemed prohibitive. In truth, he's more likely to have one in his hometown of Belfast, 100km north of Dublin if you're ever in the neighbourhood.
