I haven't really got any idea of how this site works. At least, not further than as far as posting this post goes. (Nice sentence..)
I got here because I was looking for a free download for a song by Chromeo, Momma's Boy. Still haven't found it, but i did saw something that struck me as more or less injustice. The first song that was introduced to me by Vicerecords.com, and my favorite Chromeo-track, wasn't on here. Tenderoni, which was released as a single if i'm not mistaking, is an essential part in the Chromeo-machine as far as my opinion goes.
Therefore, i would love to introduce this track to anybody who, first of all is able to ignore the fact that this post is probably not how it's supposed to be, since it's my first one, and secondly able to find it, considering nobody knows 'My MOG' exists...
By the way, if anyone could maybe tell me what this site is about, in a nutshell, and if there are any rules or things i should know about, that would be very nice.

this is a great 1st post - welcome to MOG!
i don't think there are any free downloads here (as far as keepers), but you can stream loads of music for free. but, of course, not every song ever is in the database (which i think is based on Rhapsody's collection of music) so people upload tunes too (like you did here!)
MOG is definitely a music website with a strong community of music lovers who share thoughts, ideas and tunes through blogging. that's my perspective in a nutshell anyway. for more info about rules and such, scope the official pages (links are in the footer of most pages):

it's a great track by chromeo! i'm surprised it wasn't on here already. your post is "how it should be" you even got a song to go with it. all the better. welcome to mog! click on the "posts, news & reviews" (one spot you can find that is right under the mog logo in the top left. if you choose "all" that brings you to view all the posts made on mog, which you can comment on, and by clicking on user's photos you can check out their profile and see what other kinds of music they like. there's also a mog tour if you want the full effect. http://mog.com/tour it's about sharing what you like, and finding new music and friends. woot!

it all seems very nice. maybe a bit complicated at first, but nothing that won't get easier as time goes by i guess ;)
