Tomahawk's latest album, Anonymous, is a collection of interpretations of public domain Native American songs. The album's concept was the result of guitarist, Duane Denison, wanting to find native music that was "more aggressive, spookier, and more kinetic" than the generic, "blues and country...or 'new age' type stuff" played during gigs at Indian Reservations while he was on tour with Hank Williams III.
