There was an interesting article in Netsville today. That's my name for the world wide internet. Netsville. The articke was about a 72 year old man in South Carolina who has renounced his hatred and racicm from his past. As much as it messed with my head, it also brought a strange feeling of hope that chimed somewhere deep in my heart.
(sigh)...maybe he's singing my song now...

When Craig Ferguson had Bishop Desmond Tutu on "The Late Late Show...," he mentioned a Scottish proverb, which I think went like this: "Resentment is like taking poison and expecting someone else to die." Then there's Karma, which balances evil vs. good (deeds) one has done over a lifetime. Life's too short to waste energy on hate.
Amazing that an old dog learned new tricks. Though I wonder why the article title contains the qualifier ambivalent.
