About Fiction Plane:

Fiction Plane is the British alternative pop/rock band, fronted by singer/songwriter Joe Sumner, son of Gordon Sumner, beter known as Sting. Ever since they started in 1999 the band acquired a loyal following in and outside the UK.

As for his voice, Joe definitely sounds like his father, but musically Fiction Plain is much heavier than The Police. The band's third album 'Left Side Of The Brain' (2007) is turning out to be their big breakthrough.

In 2008 Fiction Plane toured America supporting The Bravery and even Snoop Dogg on The Summer Unity Tour. Single 'New Lie', released Nov 2008, sees the band recreate scenes from 80s cult movie 'Risky Business' and is directed by Sumner's younger brother Jake.
