Watch the recent Amsterdam gig of these Montreal Indie rockers!
Of Montreal is an American indie pop band from Florida, formed by frontman and glam rock icon Kevin Barnes. The band is named after Kevin's failed relationship in Montreal.
Of Montreal's debut album 'Cherry Peel' came out in 1997, followed by 'The Gay Parade' in 1998. 'Aldhils Arboretum' (2002) was the start of a change in their sound. It became much more danceable, structured and the use of electronica increased.
The band's performance is not only known for its high level of dance-abiltiy, but also for its visual effects and the many costume changes of the group.
Their latest album is called 'Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer' and was released in 2007.
Already the second gig of these guys we've recorded this year! But eey, the four lads from Dundee, Scotland just keep on rocking.

wow. sounds fantastic! gets me excited all over again. and, yeah, cool to see my bag's made it. those black and red colours look lovely on a stage with the boys.
is it supposed to be many pictures though, and no "real" film? not complaining, just asking...
ok, it's supposed to be a "real film", of course. i played around with the quicktime preferences a bit, but i can't make it work properly. my internet connection should be fast enough. don't think it's that.
anyone on mac os 10.3.9 who can help? (i'm on an imac, but that shouldn't make a difference, right?)
One of the greatest songwriters of the last decade if you ask me. So it's not strange that we find three of his concerts in the Fabchannel archive.

Thanks for posting these :) they're great, but sadly they never seem to play any shows in Ireland apart from festivals. I love the first one, Time Code. Digital Ash is definitely my favourite album. Conor is so great. sigh.
