I really miss mog. I would love to just see my songs of the week update . . . I know the announcement said it's fixed, but it doesn't seem fixed. In other news, I have the posted song and a few others by Tegan & Sara stuck on repeat loop in my head. Other ones to check out are "Pride" "Hype" and "Freedom" -- aside from the better known "I know I know I know" etc.

I was looking forward to getting back to being mogified. Loaded software onto new PC, then spent ages trying to figure out if issues were due to VISTA, but then ran across tiny forum posting about how there are server issues. Thanks for putting that in a place I am likely to see right away. Also, the posts in the forum on VISTA are as clear as mud as to whether the current mogomatic will or wil...

So, in case anyone missed me, my computer died a horrible tragic death. Theoretically, the were able to extract my data (aka iTunes collection) from the carcass, thus narrowly avoiding (I hope) an object lesson in the purpose of backing up data. Still, when you have a wonky cd burner, and only a nano, sometimes you have to just walk on the wild side . . . Hopefully soon I will get a new computer (

So, I stumbled across the above mentioned artist, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with the samples I heard. Anyone have any info/feedback? Also got a sugababes overloaded:singles collection import finally. I really like some of their music (file under guilty pleasure) but it's occasionally ruined by how different the accent sounds. I haven't listened to enough of the

So, I'm with the Commitments on the "jazz is musical wanking off" theory. Still, I do like this Cibelle song. But that's it. That's as close as I'll go. And for anyone who wants to do the "jazz is an american art-form shtick" -- I prefer blues any day of the week, and particularly hate acid jazz. Okay, I also admit I have the Les Nubiens version of "smooth operator", but we already know the French

When getting drunk/tipsy on champagne on a weeknight, I highly recommend: Sea Legs, the shins (turn up loud on iPod)Overload, sugababesand changing into dancing shoes in one's aparmtent -- cause you can't do the spins in the rubber soled bootsjust, y'know, an FYI Shins' album didn't really do it for me at first, but am now addicted to red rabbits, sea legs, and phantom limb.

Another entry in the "with a name like that, I have to buy it" category. Good thing I find it reasonably catchy.
