Yow, found a coupla wicked tracks on Matador by this band called Fucked Up. I love how an obvious band name like that is inevitably used, and only by a group that can live up to the lofty promise of it. Yes. As my friend Apocalypse Dude points out, this is g-naRLy! A seriously tight post-rock rockin ass rock band who have been to punk school before their creativity overwhelmed the confines of any genre label, and they had to brand themselves, Fucked Up. Dayumb, great stuff.

I haven't heard a new band of this caliber in a long time. I just happened upon them by chance. They've quickly become one of my favorite bands. Leave it to the Canucks to resurrect all that's good about hardcore.
yep, they're really good. something unusual and compelling about their rhthym section and the vocalist is bad ass. seems they take the best parts of hardcore and bring them forward, while adding a unique stamp of their own. it works really well. hope i get to see them live - they sound like a band that will either implode or go a long way!
